Check out the latest edition of Mrs. E's Extras.  In this edition there is an article on Financial Literacy as well as information on the Reading Hall of Fame.

The 5th grade class at Murphy School is hosting a family night at Margaritaville at Mohegan Sun on Thursday, January 12th.  Come have dinner with the family and 10% of the proceeds will go to the 5th grade class fundraiser.  Print out the flyer and bring it with you to the restaurant for Murphy to get credit.  There are also coupons available in the Murphy office for free kids meals with the purchase of every adult entree (valid up to 4 free kids meals with the purchase  of 4 adult entrees).  We hope to see many Murphy families at this fun night.

The next PTO meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, January 11th at 6:00 PM in the Murphy library. 

Check your local newspapers this weekend (January 7th and 8th) for the special Labels for Education 100 point bonus offer collection sheet.  Labels for Educations is a great way to support the school and earn money for special events and field trips.

The Montville Board of Education will hold a special meeting on Monday, January 9th at 5:30 PM in the Montville High School Library.
